Detailed Description

Abstract interface for algorithms extracting 2D contour paths.

Concrete implementations may use marching squares, Minuit contours, adaptive sampling, or any other method. The interface deliberately exposes only the scalar field and request metadata so that algorithms remain interchangeable.
